Position: Molding Machine Technician
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
POSITION SUMMARY:
The technician will be responsible for operating molding machinery and inspecting the quality of the produced items. The role requires the ability to assess whether the output meets established quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate under the general supervision of the department leader, adhering to established processes and protocols.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, sketches, and verbal or written instructions.
- Immediately report any defective materials, quality issues, or unusual conditions to the technician or supervisor.
- Maintain production and quality standards as set by management.
- Ensure product quality through thorough inspection before, during, and after production.
- Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
- Operate injection molding and blending machines to combine raw materials.
- Inspect finished products for surface imperfections and defects.
- Secure threaded cores and/or over molds into the molding equipment.
- Fill machine hoppers with raw materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Participate in cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
· Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
· Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
· Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is preferred.

Compensation Details: $18.00 to $18.50 per hour
