Role Summary:The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for the operation of molding machinery to manufacture high-quality molded components. This role requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to established processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate molding machines to ensure efficient production of molded parts.
- Follow the guidance of the department supervisor while maintaining production and quality standards.
- Utilize injection molding equipment effectively.
- Blend raw materials as needed for production.
- Trim excess material using precision tools.
- Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance.
- Secure components within molds accurately.
- Manage machine hoppers and ensure they are filled appropriately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- High school diploma or GED; relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to handle small components with dexterity.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical ability to lift weights ranging from 10 to 55 lbs.
- Willingness to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity are essential.
- Exposure to industrial cleaning agents and oils may occur.
