Your Role:
As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will act as a knowledgeable advocate for our customers, dedicated to delivering exceptional service through your expertise and a strong sense of accountability and urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary customs representative for your assigned customer accounts, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and thorough follow-up until issues are resolved to customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of customs brokerage products, standard operating procedures (SOP), and best practices.
  • Take ownership of Customer Standard Operating Procedures and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases to guarantee compliance with CBP and customer requirements.
  • Begin to cultivate the skills necessary to become a trusted advisor in customs, transitioning from data entry to comprehensive customs brokerage account management.
  • Analyze and validate import documentation and data to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations prior to submission to U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agencies (PGA).
  • Maintain a high standard of operational excellence regarding on-time performance, accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customs entry writing
