Position Overview:
As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will embark on a journey of professional growth while managing a diverse customer portfolio within a dynamic training program. Your primary objective will be to ensure that service delivery aligns with customer expectations, while also acting as a brand ambassador who enhances customer satisfaction and drives business expansion.

Upon successful completion of the training program, you will transition into a role as a Portfolio Development Associate, which presents remarkable opportunities supported by extensive resources and developmental support.

Our Client Engagement Specialists focus on converting warm leads into active customers by fostering relationships and promoting business growth through referrals from our sales teams. This unique strategy allows you to concentrate on nurturing relationships and expanding business, distinguishing us from competitors who prioritize prospecting over customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:
- Convert sales leads into active clients by establishing strong connections, nurturing relationships, and understanding customer needs to maximize conversion rates.
- Engage proactively with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to fulfill customer requirements and growth objectives.
- Address customer inquiries and manage disputes with tact and professionalism.
- Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Re-establish connections with dormant customers to stimulate demand.
- Implement pricing strategies by leveraging negotiation skills and market insights.
- Maintain a sense of urgency in serving customers and developing your portfolio.

Service Delivery & Business Development:
- Generate additional business within your portfolio to exceed monthly volume and revenue targets while expanding your customer base.
- Cultivate demand by engaging with customers and leveraging business opportunities.
- Recognize growth potential within accounts and transform transactional relationships into committed partnerships.
- Stay informed about customer, industry, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Execute various operational tasks such as quoting, load building, shipment activation, and managing order-level escalations.

Process Efficiency:
- Embrace and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve workflow.
- Utilize data and reporting to identify service enhancements and expand service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal resources to ensure adherence to account processes and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a minimum portfolio size of existing customers based on volume and revenue.
- Participate in regular team meetings to enhance communication and alignment.
- Use technology to monitor order statuses and take corrective actions as needed.
- Operate relevant systems efficiently to support customer and supplier logins and adoption.
- Contribute to the development of necessary standard operating procedures for effective customer management.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer engagement, either internal or external.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in negotiation, collaboration, and influencing others.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
