Position Overview

Join the Intelligent Analytics team at NielsenIQ, where curiosity meets collaboration. As a Retail Analytics Analyst, you will engage with clients, offering insights and solutions that drive impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent analyses utilizing NielsenIQ's proprietary tools and secondary data to extract insights that enhance client outcomes.
  • Facilitate engagement in strategic projects and initiatives for both clients and internal teams.
  • Develop expertise to advise leading clients on marketing strategies and industry trends, participating in discussions and presentations as needed.
  • Establish strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify collaborative opportunities across NielsenIQ teams to drive client sales.

About You

As a proactive team player, you will communicate concerns to Delivery Consultants and Principal team members promptly. You will also engage in analytic communities that foster best practices and thought leadership. Your ability to pinpoint opportunities for efficiency, automation, and standardization will simplify processes in client deliverables.

Qualifications

General Skills:

  • Strong analytical, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator, capable of delivering polished client presentations.
  • Adept at synthesizing data and simplifying findings to address client business challenges.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets, preferably using SAS, SQL, or R.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methodologies.
  • Ability to maintain positive client relationships in complex scenarios and resolve issues effectively.
  • Intermediate project management skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset for working with internal and external teams.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to achieve client outcomes.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree required with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Consulting, Information, Sales, and Analytics is preferred.
