In this experienced-level role, your primary function will be to act as the day-to-day Commercial Account Executive for a portfolio of commercial lines clients, serving as a key contact for clients while ensuring high levels of satisfaction for both clients and internal teams. You will collaborate with an assigned Producer to market and secure new business, coordinate annual renewals, prepare materials for quarterly client meetings, facilitate communication with other departments as necessary, maintain client databases, manage records, and handle project-specific tasks to support client satisfaction.

  • Comply with all operational policies and processes to ensure client satisfaction and the delivery of quality products and services tailored to meet unique client needs.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and comprehensive client information in the client relationship management (CRM) system, including documentation and management of action items and client communications in accordance with established procedures.
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory guidelines regarding the organization, filing, management, and retention of both physical and electronic records.
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned by company leadership.
  • Uphold the highest standards of security and confidentiality concerning corporate and client-related information.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and account executives/producers.
  • Request endorsements and policy modifications from insurance providers.
  • Address any discrepancies in invoicing.
  • Support administrative and technical functions as needed for assigned clients.
  • Gather new and renewal information for assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Stay updated on current market conditions and emerging markets.
  • Review, analyze, and market applications to insurance carriers in accordance with agency standards.
  • Provide market recommendations to account executives/producers.
  • Negotiate with carriers to achieve optimal coverage and premium combinations.
  • Prepare quotes, coverage summaries, proposals, and recommendations to ensure clients and prospects understand their coverage options.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings organized by the agency.
  • Follow the agency's attendance policy.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of prior professional experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, Customer Service Representative, or Commercial Lines Underwriter working with middle-market commercial lines clients.
  • Property & Casualty license is required.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interact effectively at all levels within the company while maintaining confidentiality in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on initiatives or issues to completion.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with diverse individuals and possess a strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Experience with the EPIC management system is preferred.
