Position Summary:
The Commercial Insurance Account Executive will deliver exceptional sales support to the Producer while ensuring top-notch customer service for clients. This role demands a high level of independent judgment and discretion to meet service expectations. The Account Executive will aid in the generation of new and renewal accounts aligned with Agency and individual Producer objectives, while also providing field support for Producer initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting clients with service inquiries and modifications to existing accounts. The Account Executive will collaborate with the Producer to devise and propose suitable insurance and risk management strategies for Agency clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess, and cultivate commercial insurance prospects with both new and existing clients through various communication channels.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-ups, accurate quotations, and comprehensive account support. Proactively address and follow up on client needs.
  • Engage in networking and strategic planning for new clients and business opportunities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on essential metrics to ensure sales objectives are met, and document sales activities promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor junior staff, provide expertise, and participate in both formal and informal meetings as required.
  • Prepare clients for renewals and retention while maintaining robust client relationships.
  • Stay current with continuing education and industry developments, including new products, regulations, coverages, and technologies to enhance knowledge and performance.
  • Review client audits, ensure corrections are made as necessary, and manage accounts receivable and billing.

Qualifications
  • Directly interact with clients to review and process renewals; update necessary items in the management system and communicate with clients as required.
  • Maintain records in accordance with Agency standards, ensuring procedures are followed and information is documented and easily accessible.
  • Work closely with Producers to provide essential client documents, checklists, and proposals.
  • Utilize support tools (electronic tasks and expiration/renewal reports) to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty or a similar field is preferred.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a Property and Casualty Insurance License within 6-12 months of employment. Correll Insurance Group will assist in scheduling pre-licensing courses, exams, applications, etc.
