This experienced position primarily involves acting as the daily Account Executive for a portfolio of commercial lines clients, serving as the main point of contact while ensuring high levels of satisfaction for both clients and internal teams. The Commercial Account Executive will collaborate with an assigned Producer to promote and secure new business, manage annual renewals, prepare materials for client meetings, facilitate information flow to various departments, maintain client databases, oversee records management, and handle additional responsibilities aimed at enhancing client satisfaction.

  • Comply with all operational protocols to guarantee client satisfaction and the delivery of quality products and services tailored to meet unique client needs.
  • Establish and maintain accurate client information in the client relationship management system (CRM), including documentation and management of action items and communications as per established procedures.
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory standards regarding the organization, management, and retention of both physical and electronic records.
  • Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned by company leadership.
  • Maintain the utmost confidentiality and security concerning corporate and client-related information.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and account executives/producers.
  • Request endorsements and policy modifications from insurance providers.
  • Address any discrepancies in invoicing.
  • Provide administrative and technical support as needed for assigned clients.
  • Gather new and renewal information for assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling within existing client relationships.
  • Stay updated on current market conditions and emerging opportunities.
  • Review, analyze, and market applications to insurance carriers as per agency guidelines.
  • Make informed market recommendations to account executives/producers.
  • Negotiate with carriers to achieve optimal coverage and premium combinations.
  • Prepare quotes, coverage summaries, proposals, and recommendations to ensure clients and prospects understand their coverage options.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings organized by the agency.
  • Comply with the agency's attendance policies.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Commercial Lines Account Executive, Customer Service Representative, or Commercial Lines Underwriter with middle market clients.
  • Property & Casualty license is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to interact effectively at all levels within the company while maintaining confidentiality in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion.
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse individuals and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience with the EPIC management system is preferred.
