Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

This role is a Hybrid Remote opportunity, designed for a strategic leader who will play a crucial part in steering the Project Management Office (PMO), Product Innovation, and Vendor Relations. The Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's strategic vision, ensuring that all efforts align with overarching business objectives and deliver substantial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the PMO and project management teams, ensuring robust governance, prioritization, and timely delivery of projects within defined parameters.
- Oversee Product Innovation, fostering creativity and ensuring that offerings align with market demands and corporate goals.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with key vendors to maximize performance and cultivate strategic alliances that drive innovation.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and industry insights to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic objectives and formulate actionable plans to achieve them.
- Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that all projects and initiatives are in harmony with the company's strategic direction.
- Lead change management initiatives related to strategic projects, facilitating smooth transitions and integration across the organization.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Promote continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in strategic leadership roles, demonstrating a successful track record in PMO, Product Innovation, Project Management, and Vendor Relations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
- Experience in the property insurance or a related sector.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or similar credentials.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a methodical execution approach.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- High proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Standard business hours with flexibility for additional hours as necessary.
- Potential travel to various locations as required.
- Hybrid Remote Schedule - In-office presence required on designated days.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift items as needed.
- Hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating equipment.
- Visual acuity for using a keyboard, operating equipment, and reading technical documents.
