Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Vice President of Technology Operations to spearhead critical IT initiatives essential for the efficient allocation of resources from our investment funds. This role is integral in aligning technological strategies with our organizational objectives and regulatory mandates, ensuring smooth operations and significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive IT Strategy Plan that aligns with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Provide strategic insights to the board and senior management regarding emerging technologies and digital advancements to foster innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between IT and various business units, ensuring their requirements are integrated into the IT strategy.
  • Establish governance frameworks to guarantee that IT investments deliver value and align with business priorities.
  • Create and enforce IT policies and standards to protect data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Build and maintain a robust internal data infrastructure that offers reliable data sources for analytics and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Oversee IT budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation across projects and operations.
  • Implement comprehensive cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data and maintain stakeholder confidence.
  • Identify and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats and technological obsolescence.
  • Manage staffing needs, whether through permanent hires or contractors, to adequately support business operations.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to service agreements.
  • Utilize available data to support industry-wide analytics and insights that promote community growth and green finance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline; a Master's degree (MBA or MS in Information Technology) is preferred.
  • Over 7 years of experience in senior IT management roles, demonstrating a proven track record in leadership and strategic IT planning.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring teams, fostering innovation, and driving organizational transformation.
  • Experience in formulating and executing IT strategies that align with business objectives, including digital transformation and large-scale IT projects.
  • Expertise in IT budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex IT and business challenges.
  • Proficient in managing IT systems in accordance with industry regulations and federal standards.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing vendor relationships to optimize IT service delivery.
