Position Overview

Kuraray America, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing Solutions to spearhead revenue enhancement initiatives.

Role Summary

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing Solutions will be a key member of Kuraray's senior sales leadership, responsible for overseeing the entire sales team within the Marketing Solutions division.

The primary objective of this role is to achieve the company’s strategic goals for sustainable revenue growth through effective sales operations, including setting and meeting annual and quarterly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and strategic insight into the advertising market, including pipeline management, sales strategy, negotiations, and performance analysis.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure sales objectives are met.
  • Drive the sales team to meet or exceed established quotas while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine and execute the overall strategy for the Marketing Solutions team.
  • Engage in executive-level selling to expand the scope and volume of key accounts.
  • Identify and implement strategies to address team-wide challenges and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of customer value drivers to craft compelling narratives and value propositions for our products and services.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to inform market positioning and product development strategies.
  • Provide personalized coaching and mentorship to sales team members to elevate their performance.
  • Act as a thought leader within the industry, representing Kuraray at events and in discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with sales objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; proficiency in Salesforce and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of four years of experience managing sales teams, focusing on goal setting, coaching, and professional development.
  • At least six years of experience in a consultative B2B sales environment, with a proven track record of success in selling to large enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in B2B or K-12 marketing/advertising solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for team and individual improvement.
  • In-depth understanding of trends and challenges in B2B marketing and advertising.
