Position Title: Aerospace Product Security Specialist

Job Overview:
The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Product Security Engineering division is seeking skilled Aerospace Product Security Specialists to enhance our Product Development (PD), Product Security Incident & Response (PSIRT), Software Security, Factory Cybersecurity, and Cybersecurity Certification teams.
We are dedicated to safeguarding our commercial aircraft products and the broader aviation ecosystem. Our teams are looking for individuals at various experience levels, including Associate, Experienced, and Senior Level Aerospace Product Security Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced security features for innovative concepts and technologies applicable to commercial aviation products, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Evaluate risks, threats, and vulnerabilities associated with product assets and production systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Formulate security requirements and collaborate with various system stakeholders.
- Conduct verification of system security engineering products through inspection, analysis, demonstration, and testing methods.
- Work alongside security testers to confirm coverage and assess impacts.
- Assist in airplane certification processes in coordination with regulatory bodies.
- Generate technical documentation in alignment with security engineering protocols for both internal and external use.
- Lead the creation and communication of sustainment programs to ensure ongoing product security and resilience of all digitally-connected airplane models.
- Oversee the development of laboratory requirements and architectures to meet all relevant standards.
- Ensure the security and management of facilities, equipment, and resources to maintain product security.
- Drive the production of innovative technical solutions, considering the implications of decisions made individually and as part of a team.
Additional Responsibilities:
- For the PSIRT team, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the security and resilience of all digitally-connected BCA airplanes. This position provides an excellent opportunity for those with laboratory experience looking to advance their leadership skills in the cybersecurity domain.
Work Environment:
This position requires 100% onsite presence.
Compliance Requirements:
To comply with export control regulations, candidates must meet the definition of a "U.S. Person" as outlined by relevant government standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of systems integration, airplane systems, and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience with security testing, evaluation, and network design.
- Possession of relevant security certifications.
