Procurement Manager (Aerospace)

Underground Administration is looking for a Procurement Manager to spearhead the procurement and supplier quality initiatives within their Aerospace sector. This position entails managing multiple manufacturing facilities and distribution centers. The Procurement Manager will oversee the acquisition of both direct and indirect goods and services essential for production and logistics. Reporting directly to the Procurement Director, this role comes with a comprehensive benefits package from the start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Operational, Sourcing, and Supplier Quality teams
  • Set benchmarks and performance metrics for enhancement
  • Coordinate procurement efforts to minimize costs while enhancing quality
  • Negotiate long-term contracts
  • Work alongside business leaders to achieve revenue and profit objectives
  • Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and Municipal regulations
  • Identify and develop secondary source suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in business operations, procurement, or finance
  • Over 10 years of procurement experience in a large corporate environment
  • Experience in the aerospace or automotive manufacturing sectors
  • Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and negotiation processes
  • Strong skills in Strategic Sourcing
  • Experience in leading teams with indirect reporting structures
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools
