- Address unauthorized individuals on site and effectively communicate with security teams or law enforcement as necessary.
- Utilize access control systems to manage employee and contractor access levels.
- Ensure full accountability for all keys, access cards, and other security devices.
- Investigate any unauthorized access incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols and report any hazards to the relevant departments.
- Enforce established security policies and procedures.
- Deliver clear and concise information to team members, staff, and visitors.
- Handle incoming calls with discretion and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Prepare and distribute daily occupancy reports.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and follow up on requests.
- Exhibit a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.
- Possession of a valid armed security license.
- Prior experience in security roles, including monitoring and emergency response.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to varying work environments.
- Strong operational judgment and flexibility in handling shifting priorities.
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Successful completion of a background investigation.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 5 years of security experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Physical capability to perform security duties, including standing for extended periods and responding to emergencies.
- Competence in using computers and office software, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
- Training in emergency response and defensive tactics.
- Experience in military or law enforcement.
