Utilizing your expertise in turbomachinery, you will develop design definitions, create engineering specifications, and collaborate on component manufacturing. You will ensure component performance and reliability through testing and design iterations, support hardware builds, and guide post-test data evaluations. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment is crucial.

We seek an individual who can leverage their leadership and technical expertise, along with a commitment to quality, to positively influence safe human spaceflight. A passion for our mission is essential.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong conceptual grasp of turbomachinery hardware component design and manufacturing, including turbines, impellers, housings, bearings, and seals.
Preferred:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques, including castings, forgings, and machined parts.
  • Extensive experience in managing non-conforming turbomachinery components and improving design for manufacturability and assembly.
  • Familiarity with turbomachinery components specific to rocket engine applications.
  • Experience with cryogenic fluids and oxygen compatibility.

Compensation: Competitive salary range based on location and experience.
