ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated Security Specialist to join our team.

Founded in 2001, ACTS-Aviation Security has established itself as a premier provider of security services within the aviation sector.

As a subsidiary of the international security firm ICTS Europe, we focus on delivering comprehensive security solutions, primarily in the areas of catering, aircraft, and cargo screening.

With our corporate headquarters located in major cities and operational hubs at numerous airports nationwide, ACTS ensures extensive coverage across the United States.

Our Security Specialists take pride in their vital role in maintaining aviation safety and have numerous opportunities for career advancement within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of airline equipment to identify unauthorized items.
- Screen cargo in accordance with customer specifications using designated equipment/methods.
- Perform monitoring of aircraft, passenger screening, and gate security as per client requirements.
- Observe and assess unit activities and surrounding areas when not engaged in inspection duties.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Report directly to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, depending on the unit size.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.

Essential Requirements:
- New hires must successfully complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a comprehensive 10-year background verification.
- Must not have been convicted of any FAA Disqualifying Crimes.
- Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid U.S. driver's license is necessary.

Citizenship may be required for specific services.

Communication Skills:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- None required.

Travel Requirements:
- None.

Work Environment:
- Must be available for non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
