Security Operations Specialist

The Armed Security Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the client’s environment and assets. This position requires a proactive approach to physical security operations, ensuring that all security functions are executed with precision and professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhysical Security Management:- Exhibit heightened situational awareness and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Monitor security cameras and communication devices for any irregularities while stationed at the Security Desk.
- Authenticate visitor and government-issued identification and maintain a comprehensive visitor log.
- Address and manage unauthorized individuals on the premises, collaborating with security personnel or law enforcement as necessary.
- Utilize access control systems to create and manage profiles, assigning appropriate access levels to personnel.
- Ensure complete accountability for all keys, access cards, and other entry devices.
- Investigate any unauthorized access incidents on the property.
- Conduct regular patrols and promptly report any hazards to the relevant departments.
- Uphold the policies and procedures established by Eagle Security Group and the client.
- Deliver clear and accurate information to team members, staff, and visitors.
- Handle incoming calls with discretion and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Prepare and distribute daily occupancy reports at the start and end of business hours.
- Maintain open lines of communication with team members and follow up on requests from staff and partners.
- Consistently demonstrate a high standard of professional conduct.
- Possession of a valid armed private security license in Washington State.
- Prior experience in security roles, including remote monitoring and emergency response.
- Ability to work autonomously while adapting to varying work environments.
- Strong operational judgment and flexibility in addressing shifting priorities.
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace, including participation in drug screenings.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 5 years of security experience, ideally in the private sector.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Physical capability to perform duties, including standing for extended periods and engaging in physically demanding activities.
- Familiarity with office equipment and software, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
- Training in emergency medical response, defensive tactics, and firearms.
- Background in military or law enforcement.
