Senior Officer, Compliance – Remote Opportunity

In this pivotal position, you will deliver anti-money laundering (AML) compliance assistance to Western Union agents, developing programs that adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and other relevant anti-money laundering regulations applicable to Money Services Businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Assess internal controls and AML compliance frameworks for agents through transaction evaluations, compliance audits, and training sessions. Provide AML compliance assistance to Western Union agents and affiliated entities. Conduct agent program assessments on a quarterly basis and manage your workload independently. Support agents in adhering to company policies and procedures related to anti-money laundering. Oversee more complex program evaluations, including referrals from agent risk management and financial intelligence, requiring advanced risk assessment skills. Cultivate compliance relationships and offer support to extensive agent networks. Willingness to travel/drive up to 30%.Qualifications
Background in anti-money laundering (AML), Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reporting Systems (SARs), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), or fraud compliance. Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, auditing, risk management, or BSA compliance. Strong verbal communication and training/presentation capabilities. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory. Self-sufficient worker with excellent multitasking skills. Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. A four-year degree is preferred. Willingness to travel/drive up to 30%.Compensation and Benefits
The on-target earnings range is $90,000-105,000 annually, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives aligned with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
