Role Summary:

The Senior Advisor for Enterprise Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy plays a crucial role in overseeing the administration of the company's policy and disclosure management framework. This position entails the development, implementation, and enforcement of various policies and procedures, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting and revising organizational policies
  • Implementing and communicating policy updates
  • Ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures

This essential role collaborates with various stakeholders to assess the organization's policy requirements, provide guidance on policy updates, and develop training and educational resources. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy, the Senior Advisor is responsible for maintaining the policy management system, tracking progress, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Enterprise Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy team in achieving policy committee objectives.
  • Lead the administration and oversight of the Enterprise Compliance Program.
  • Draft and update comprehensive policies that align with organizational goals.
  • Assist business development and integration teams in analyzing policies of acquired entities.
  • Monitor and reconcile policy data to assess adoption rates.
  • Facilitate ongoing requests for policy management system updates and approvals.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure policies meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage user access and maintain the policy management system.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on policy-related issues.
  • Assist with the Policy and Procedure Oversight Committee meetings.
  • Build relationships with leaders involved in policy improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for policy communication and training.
  • Support the Enterprise Annual Compliance Risk Assessment and related reports.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in project management or compliance oversight.
  • Certifications in Compliance or HIPAA preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in healthcare or related industries is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple critical projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and policy management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
