Walmart Advanced Systems and Robotics is in search of a dynamic and versatile professional to enhance our Quality team, focusing on the support of Bots in operational environments, sustaining engineering efforts, and effective problem resolution.


The Lead Process Improvement Engineer role will engage with diverse engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, and software), alongside quality assurance, supply chain management, manufacturing, and operational teams.

The perfect candidate will possess a natural curiosity, strong analytical skills, and the capability to guide cross-functional teams through structured problem-solving approaches.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate troubleshooting efforts for Bots in the field. Analyze Bot malfunctions, assist in corrective measures, and document observed patterns.

Oversee process control and issue documentation for Bot diagnostic and repair operations.

Execute queries on Bot log databases to uncover trends and assist in root cause analysis.

Create dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as PowerBI.


Collaborate effectively with all major disciplines to ensure alignment between departmental needs and adherence to product and process standards.


Lead investigations that yield root cause analyses and corrective actions through data evaluation, inductive and deductive reasoning, and problem-solving expertise. Coordinate the efforts of individuals and teams conducting investigations.

Provide reliability assessments and statistical analyses.

Conduct feasibility and optimization studies for proposed technical strategies.

Identify and implement continuous improvements in products and processes to enhance cost efficiency, quality, reliability, and operational effectiveness.

Present process concept proposals and execute approved methodologies.

Develop and document processes by assessing requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and validating based on business needs.

Compile product and process reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated electro-mechanical proficiency with extensive experience in manufacturing and quality assurance.

Proficient in ADX database queries and data analytics tools such as PowerBI.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments.

High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, while efficiently utilizing limited resources.

Relevant experience in product development, commercialization, and compliance strategies.

Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.

Effectively influence team decisions and product design requirements.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.

Proficient in resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively.


Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to create and oversee project plans, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at various stages of completion.

Possess additional skills in business acumen, team facilitation, adaptability, independent thinking, and accountability for execution.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.

B.S. or M.S. degree in systems, automation, software, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
