Position Overview:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the organization. This role involves critical analysis and implementation of systems to improve productivity and ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and sustain an organized materials system, ensuring optimal equipment placement and part identification for all operational and storage activities.
2. Maintain comprehensive facility documentation, including plant layouts and drawings.
3. Conduct time studies to analyze assembly operations, process sequences, and material handling workflows.
4. Lead layout modifications for continuous improvement initiatives, engineering updates, and new program integrations.
5. Actively engage in the Great Ideas program to foster innovation.
6. Contribute to the plant's continuous improvement objectives and track progress towards these goals.
7. Prepare cost estimates for new program implementations or modifications.
8. Assess ergonomic factors and execute studies to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.
9. Monitor and report on project developments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
10. Identify potential risks during program launches and establish preventive measures.
11. Approve packaging solutions for new initiatives and modifications as necessary.
12. Document all relevant activities and maintain compliance with company protocols for emergency situations.

Authority Limits:
Advise management on significant risks related to product quality, employee safety, and customer satisfaction. Initiate corrective actions for any identified nonconformance in products or processes, and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience in conducting time studies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
- Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Proven problem-solving skills and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
