Your Role: As a Lead Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering and operational initiatives aimed at delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective products to our clients.
This position is tailored for a highly skilled operational engineer who will provide support to our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant facilities, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
- Champion safety initiatives to achieve a zero-accident culture.
- Conduct engineering design and analysis for operational changes, collaborating with external resources as necessary.
- Participate in audits and lead incident investigations, driving corrective actions to resolution.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to enhance predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain essential operating documents and ensure accurate updates are made.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with various teams to resolve plant issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in project engineering or operations within the industrial gas or petrochemical sectors.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve results.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety management systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of learning company-specific software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with DCS and PLC systems.
- Mechanical, process, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
