Lead Process Architect

Position Overview:
The Lead Process Architect will spearhead the development of projects within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, delivering exceptional designs tailored for our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the project team through all phases of design and construction, ensuring seamless integration of process systems into architectural plans while adhering to budgetary and environmental considerations.
- Oversee project design from initial concepts to completion, aligning with client specifications and requirements.
- Create, modify, and evaluate production drawings for life science facilities.
- Engage in project scheduling, scope definition, budget management, and construction planning, while effectively managing change orders.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP standards, and industry practices to inform design decisions.
- Demonstrate expertise in creating designs for both new and renovated facilities that harmonize equipment, processes, and personnel.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is essential.
- A minimum of 8 years of architectural experience, preferably in consulting.
- Registration as a licensed Architect is preferred.
- Profound understanding of architectural techniques and standards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, BIM (Revit), Adobe Suite, and 3D rendering applications.
- Proven capability to analyze and solve complex problems methodically and analytically.
- Strong attention to detail, with skills in facilitation, team collaboration, and organizational management.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality reviews of production drawings and project-related data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise construction administration, collaborating with field personnel to address design-related installation challenges.
- Lead field inspections and measurements for both public and private sector clients.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports for clients and industry publications.
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients and contractors while identifying new business opportunities.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, leading key pursuits and managing proposals to meet financial targets.
- Oversee project budgets and cost estimates, reporting on project performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to QA/QC processes and effective communication across architectural teams.
