Role Summary:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, your primary focus will be enhancing the customer journey by actively selling and addressing customer needs in real-time. You will facilitate cross-category selling across various platforms to meet sales objectives, drive growth, and elevate the shopping experience through personalized service across all departments. This role embodies the Own Your Style service model and demands a proactive attitude that exceeds expectations while delivering efficient and friendly customer service. You will collaborate closely with your peers, particularly with At Your Service colleagues, and connect customers with a Personal Stylist when appropriate.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by selling products and fulfilling customer needs, whether in-store or through virtual channels.
  • Utilize product knowledge and digital tools to boost sales by guiding customers in making informed product selections and broadening their merchandise options.
  • Assist customers in choosing the right products, with a focus on size and fit in apparel.
  • Promote your services by leveraging company social media platforms and utilizing the sales promotion calendar to enhance sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the store to effectively resolve issues and achieve optimal outcomes for customers.
  • Communicate with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager, providing daily feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Uphold department recovery standards, including maintaining the selling floor and fitting rooms.
  • Follow asset protection protocols and compliance procedures diligently.

Who You Are:

  • Skilled in effectively communicating and presenting information to customers, peers, and management.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Possess at least one year of experience in sales or retail.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the store or department.
  • Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld devices.
  • Capable of reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
