The Customer Service Representative at Ressler Motors is tasked with understanding and addressing customer inquiries, enabling our Service Technicians to execute necessary repairs effectively. This role is crucial in communicating the completed work back to the customer in clear terms, ensuring a seamless service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers promptly and courteously as they arrive with their vehicles.
  • Recognize and assist customers who are waiting, utilizing support staff as needed.
  • Prepare for appointments by reviewing vehicle history and service needs.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential repairs, including bodywork and paintless dent removal.
  • Engage with customers to ascertain the specifics of their scheduled maintenance.
  • Inform customers about recommended services based on their vehicle's time and mileage.
  • Create detailed repair orders, documenting customer and vehicle information accurately.
  • Identify all service requirements at the vehicle and confirm with the customer.
  • Provide estimated completion times for repairs and secure customer approval on all orders.
  • Keep customers informed about any changes in service status, including costs and timeframes.
  • Coordinate with Service Technicians and dispatch to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Assist customers in setting up claims for service contracts.
  • Review final invoices with customers during vehicle delivery, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Discuss customer satisfaction surveys and encourage scheduling of future service appointments.
  • Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index rating as per departmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanical functions is essential.
  • Preferred candidates will have two years of experience in a dealership environment.
  • ASE certification is an advantage.

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly wage plus commission, with an average annual income ranging from $40,000 to $65,000.
