POSITION SUMMARY:

This role serves as a vital technical support link between our customers and Lumibird, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

  • This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities but requires the ability to guide and train team members effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver customer assistance through phone and email channels.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly to resolve any complaints.
  • Channel requests and unresolved matters to the appropriate resources.
  • Examine returned products and evaluate parts and labor needs to aid in planning and scheduling.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on products returned from customers.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for electronic assemblies.
  • Facilitate training and guidance for fellow team members.
  • Complete all necessary repair documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Ability to work within specified timeframes.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training purposes.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in laser technology, optoelectronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in laser integration, servicing, or customer support.
  • Preferred experience in servicing and repairing electronic and optical devices.
  • Preferred knowledge of optical, electronic, and electrical systems, subassemblies, and components.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to manipulate small components with fingers.
  • Capability to seize, hold, and grasp with hands.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Capacity to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch occasionally.
  • Requires working in proximity to moving mechanical parts.
  • Good vision is necessary.
