Role Summary:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, your primary focus will be enhancing the customer experience by proactively addressing their needs through effective selling techniques. You will facilitate cross-category selling across various platforms to meet sales objectives, achieve growth, and elevate the shopping experience by delivering personalized service throughout all departments. This role embodies the Own Your Style service model and requires a proactive attitude that exceeds expectations while providing efficient and friendly service to customers. You will work closely with peers, particularly At Your Service colleagues, and connect customers with Personal Stylists when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by assisting with merchandise sales and addressing any customer needs, whether in-store or via virtual platforms.
  • Utilize product knowledge and digital tools to boost sales by guiding customers in making informed product selections and broadening their options.
  • Support customers in selecting the right products, particularly in apparel, focusing on size and fit.
  • Promote your services by leveraging company social media resources and utilizing the sales promotion calendar to enhance sales.
  • Establish and nurture relationships throughout the store to resolve issues and ensure optimal outcomes for customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager, providing daily feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain departmental standards for recovery, including the selling floor and fitting rooms.
  • Adhere to asset protection protocols and compliance procedures.

Who You Are:

  • Available to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating and presenting information to customers, peers, and management.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the store or department.
  • Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld devices.
  • Physical activities such as reaching, crouching, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
