The
Machinery Engineer will play a crucial role in providing engineering support and enhancing the reliability of rotating machinery within a manufacturing setting.


Key Responsibilities:
§ Expertise in compressors (both reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal), fans, and blowers

§ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations and mechanical staff

§ Actively pursue enhancements aimed at boosting plant reliability.

§ Specify and select new rotating machinery to align with industry standards and company design criteria.

§ Ensure the provision and maintenance of safe, cost-efficient, and operable rotating equipment and related systems to satisfy current operational requirements.

§ Availability for occasional off-hours support as needed.

§ Deliver technical training to mechanical and operational teams.

§ Conduct quality assurance and quality control on repairs, both onsite and offsite.

§ Oversee vendor activities during significant machinery repairs.

§ Regularly assess the performance of rotating equipment

§ Assist during plant startups, shutdowns, and unexpected operational issues.

§ Offer guidance on prioritizing machinery-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

§ Minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial rotating machinery in a manufacturing environment

§ Familiarity with Industry Standards (e.g., API, ASME, PIP, etc.)

§ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

§ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

§ Demonstrated experience in a comparable position.
