About the Role

Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer/Licensed Boiler Operator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Daily Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular visual inspections of assigned equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform repairs and maintenance on all responsible equipment and systems as instructed, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies to expedite equipment and system repairs.
  • Ensure a Safe Working Environment: Ensure that all responsible areas are organized, clean, and free of abnormal hazards.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with customers in a timely manner regarding the status of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • On-Call Duty: Perform on-call duty on a rotational basis, responding immediately to all requests with a successful resolution of the problem.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance procedures on equipment/systems as assigned.
  • Documentation: Verify that equipment/systems have completed data sheets with service/operator manuals and are properly filed.
  • Quality Assurance: Repair and maintain all property/equipment/systems to the stated facility, performance, regulatory, and budgetary standard.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the success of procedures and recommend revisions based on experience.
  • Work Order Management: Record all work/activity performed on a work order.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years related trade/discipline experience. Hospital maintenance experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or equivalent from college or technical school preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: City of Oklahoma City Boiler Operator license (Class 1) required. Mechanical Journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma required.
