POSITION SUMMARY:
The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of the hotel’s financial records during the overnight shift. This role involves balancing daily revenue from various departments, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth operations for the next day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct daily audits of restaurant and bar revenues, ensuring accurate reporting of sales, tips, and settlements.
  • Generate and review audit reports from the front office and Point of Service systems.
  • Address any discrepancies and troubleshoot computer-related issues as they arise.
  • Input financial data into the front office system to produce essential reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Ensure all revenue and settlement accounts are balanced at the end of each night, maintaining organized records for future reference.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain availability for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
