Position Summary:
Accountable for the comprehensive management of the organization's financial resources, including revenue and expenditures, while ensuring compliance with nonprofit grant requirements.


Key Responsibilities: (Additional tasks may be assigned)

· Develops the annual financial plan for presentation to the Board of Directors, in collaboration with the Executive Director.

· Prepares monthly financial statements for discussion at finance committee meetings, detailing income and expenditure allocations across various grants and funding sources.

· Drafts the preliminary annual financial plan towards the conclusion of each fiscal year.

· Reviews and adjusts the annual financial plan throughout the year with the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director.

· Conducts regular in-depth analyses to ensure precision in financial documentation, spending, and program budgets.

· Manages bank reconciliations and oversees accounts payable and receivable.

· Coordinates bill payments and reviews receivables with the Operations Manager.

· Collaborates with the Deputy Executive Director and Operations Manager to provide accurate financial reports to funders and for grant billing.

· Works closely with the Auditor during the audit process.

· Participates in internal fiscal meetings with the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and Operations Manager to review financial performance, balance sheets, and grant receivables.

None

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). MPA or MBA with a finance focus is desirable. A minimum of six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in spreadsheet creation, MS Word, and QuickBooks (experience in Non-Profit is highly preferred).
