Job Summary:

The Quality and Compliance Specialist will perform standardized patient check-in and check-out procedures including registration activities such as entering and/or verifying demographic, insurance and/or financial information; generates routine forms and other documentation. Will also work with/advise patients on insurance carrier requirements including services not covered and obtains documentation, collects patient co-pays, etc., and tracks/accounts for monies collected on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient registration activities, including demographic, insurance, and financial verification.
  • Generate routine forms and documentation as required.
  • Advise patients on insurance carrier requirements and services not covered.
  • Collect patient co-pays and track accounts for monies collected on a daily basis.
  • Ensure clinic compliance with HEDIS measures and Quality Care Incentive Programs.
  • Oversee and ensure PCMH accreditation and requirements.
  • Provide training and oversight to ensure standards are being met in all PCMH designated clinics.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree and two (2) years of related patient financial/insurances services experience preferably in a hospital setting or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of PCMH accreditation and standards strongly preferred.
Work Schedule:

Monday to Fridays between 7am-8pm.
