Key ResponsibilitiesWe are in search of a seasoned Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead initiatives in business growth and capture across various federal sectors.
Your passion for business development and analytical skills will drive the expansion of our esteemed organization.
Contributions to Our Mission:
- Proactively discover new business avenues within the federal landscape (e.g., various departments) and cultivate qualified leads by leveraging existing relationships.
- Conduct market analysis utilizing tools to assess new business prospects, including customer budgets, required capabilities, and competitive landscape evaluations.
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target clients, creating strategic engagement plans.
- Lead business development and capture initiatives, including opportunity reviews and competitive assessments.
- Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through all phases of identification, qualification, and capture of strategic business prospects.
- Engage in business planning activities, including pipeline reviews and proposal assessments.
- Shape opportunities throughout their lifecycle by collaborating with clients to influence future acquisition strategies.
- Develop and implement capture strategies for new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Oversee capture activities, including competitive intelligence gathering and strategy development.
- Communicate opportunity statuses to senior management during key review milestones.
You will bring the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree and over 10 years of experience in leading or supporting relevant capture efforts in federal IT.
- A proven track record of successfully securing new business valued at $25M or more.
- Understanding of competitive environments and experience with various contract types.
- Proficiency in price-to-win strategies and managing multiple capture opportunities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work in diverse environments, whether remote or in-office.
