Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Deposit Operations and Data Analytics to join our team at Tyndal Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, management, and optimization of deposit operations and leveraging data analytics to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deposit Operations Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance deposit products, services, processes, and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and member needs.
  • Data Analytics Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data analytics strategy, leveraging internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards related to deposit operations and data management.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the deposit operations, payments, and data analytics teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management and Overview of Deposit Systems: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors providing deposit operation services, ensuring all terms and conditions are favorable and adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of progressive experience in financial services, with a focus on deposit operations, data analytics, and/or business intelligence.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven history of leadership in management experience, preferably at a senior or executive level.
  • Skills: Strong and proven knowledge of deposit products, services, and regulatory requirements within the credit union or banking industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
