Role Summary: The Business Process Consultant will offer expert guidance in program and project management, emphasizing process enhancement and standards administration. This position serves as a vital link between enterprise program management and information technology, ensuring the effective execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management standards and processes in collaboration with the enterprise program management team.
  • Evaluate the relevance of enterprise project management methodologies within the Information Technology sector.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create metrics to assess the adoption of standards and identify opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Establish a community of practice for program and project management, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, providing recommendations for process improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Manage complex technology needs, analyzing processes to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Document existing processes, identify gaps, and design new processes to optimize performance.
  • Act as a mentor to junior specialists and lead initiatives related to process audits and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT business processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
  • SAFe Agilist certification is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
  • Experience with project portfolio management tools, such as Planisware.
