Job Summary
The specialist will provide expertise in program and project management, focusing on process enhancement and standards governance. Acting as a key liaison between enterprise program management and IT, the role involves planning, executing, and implementing initiatives related to program management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project management standards and processes in collaboration with the enterprise program management team.
- Evaluate the relevance of enterprise project management practices within the IT domain.
- Create and execute change management strategies.
- Establish a community of practice for program and project management.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, teams, and leadership.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and facilitate sessions focused on project management standards.
- Conduct research and suggest enhancements based on industry best practices.
Complex Assignments
The assignments undertaken by the IT Process and Program Standard Management Lead are intricate and significantly influence multiple ongoing initiatives. These tasks carry substantial risks and visibility, necessitating expert judgment in the application of techniques.
Problem Solving
The specialist will address complex technological requirements, focusing on process analysis to identify issues and propose solutions. Responsibilities include creating and recommending plans for processes and standards, developing policies, and assisting in the maturation of business processes.
Continuous Improvement
Manage and coordinate sophisticated process and standards solutions for internal stakeholders. Engage in ongoing reviews to ensure standards align with evolving business needs, while also identifying areas for improvement and designing new processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience in IT business processes.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
- SAFe Agilist certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools such as Planisware.
