Job OverviewPosition Title: Financial Process Improvement Analyst

Contract Duration: 5+ months
Compensation: $70 - $75/hr

Role Summary:
  • The Financial Process Improvement Analyst will collaborate with the Corporate Accounting division to enhance the Finance True North Strategy, focusing on the automation of financial operations such as journal entries and both internal and external financial reporting.
  • This role will utilize substantial expertise in developing workflows to streamline business operations through Alteryx, assisting Corporate Accounting Alteryx users in designing, constructing, and resolving issues related to new and existing Alteryx workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate within a team of Alteryx support experts, providing guidance and mentorship while ensuring prompt resolution of user challenges.
  • Diagnose intricate Alteryx Designer workflows, escalating critical issues when necessary.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to comprehend user requirements and devise solutions that enhance their Alteryx experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders to collect requirements, prototype, architect, implement/update solutions, build and execute testing plans, conduct quality reviews, manage operations, and address operational challenges.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement solutions to business challenges based on accumulated knowledge and experience.
  • Integrate Alteryx workflows with Power Platform applications.
  • Respond swiftly to daily and high-priority ad hoc tasks.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement and formulate strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the Alteryx support function.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Alteryx platform, including Designer, Server, and associated tools.
  • Stay informed about the latest Alteryx updates and best practices, actively engaging in the Alteryx user community.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge in a discipline to achieve objectives through personal contributions.
  • Continue to expand knowledge of the organization, processes, and clientele.
  • Exhibit innovative thinking.

Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience with Alteryx Designer and Server.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex Alteryx workflows and server-related issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, production-critical change management processes and tools.
  • Good understanding of Acquire to Retire and Record to Report business processes.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP ECC and S4 HANA.
  • Familiarity with analytics and automation tools such as Tableau, Power Platform, RPA (UiPath, BluePrism), SQL, etc.
