Position Summary
This role involves providing expert program and project management support in process enhancement and standards governance. Acting as the primary liaison between enterprise program management and IT, the specialist will plan, execute, and implement initiatives related to program management standards. This position requires organizing, leading, and facilitating cross-functional project teams while developing metrics to measure standard adoption and identify future improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management standards and processes in collaboration with the enterprise program management team, assessing their relevance to Information Technology.
  • Establish a community of practice for program and project management, fostering a center of excellence.
  • Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, teams, and leadership, providing recommendations for process improvements and facilitating sessions related to project management standards.
  • Manage complex assignments that impact multiple initiatives, requiring expert judgment and adaptation of techniques.
  • Address intricate technology needs by analyzing processes, proposing solutions, and developing comprehensive process and standards plans.
  • Coordinate complex process and standards solutions for internal stakeholders, ensuring that standards evolve with changing business conditions.
  • Act as a senior authority within the functional area for large-scale programs, contributing to the development of broad strategies.
  • Engage in special projects related to process audits, compliance, and remediation, mentoring other specialists as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT business processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools such as Planisware.
