Position Summary:
  • Serves as an internal expert in program and project management, focusing on process enhancement and standards administration.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between enterprise program management and information technology sectors.
  • Plans, executes, and implements initiatives related to program management standards.
  • Leads, organizes, and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics to assess standard adoption and identifies future improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements project management standards and processes in collaboration with the enterprise program management team.
  • Evaluates the relevance of enterprise project management practices within the IT domain.
  • Responsible for creating and executing change management strategies.
  • Establishes a community of practice for program and project management, fostering a center of excellence.
  • Maintains productive relationships with stakeholders, teams, and leadership, providing recommendations for process improvements and facilitating discussions on project management standards.
  • Leads complex assignments that impact multiple ongoing initiatives, requiring expert judgment and adaptability.
  • Addresses intricate technology needs of the business unit, focusing on process analysis and solution recommendations.
  • Creates and revises process and standards plans for projects, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Communicates and enforces policies and procedures related to processes and standards, assisting in the maturation of business processes.
  • Coordinates comprehensive process and standards solutions for internal stakeholders.
  • Engages in continuous review and updates to ensure standards align with evolving business conditions.
  • Identifies opportunities for process enhancement, documents current processes, and designs new workflows.
  • This is a principal-level role, serving as a senior authority for large-scale multi-project programs.
  • Contributes to the development of broad strategies and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Participates in special projects related to process audits, compliance, and remediation efforts.
  • Acts as a mentor to other specialists within the organization.
Qualifications:Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in IT business processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.
Desired:
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools such as Planisware.
