About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Marketing team at Morrison and Foerster LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development and marketing plans that drive growth and revenue for the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development and marketing plans that align with the firm's strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Senior Business Development Manager and Director of Business Development for Litigation to ensure plans integrate with and support firmwide business development and marketing strategies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including practice group leaders and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the firm remains competitive

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • At least five years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of core marketing principles, including driving innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch and RFP responses
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
