Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team at Leaf Home Solutions. As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing assigned sales territory through effective leadership of independent contractor Sales Representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Sales Representative Team: Effectively manage sales representative team within assigned territory to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Maximize Productivity: Maximize productivity and sales effectiveness through continual team training and proactive performance management.
  • Meet Sales KPIs: Ensure sales representatives meet or exceed established sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Customer Support: Provide customer and sales support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Installation Support: Work closely with Installation department to ensure accurate sales orders and timely installation.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Routinely review sales performance reports to identify areas of improvement and opportunity for assigned team and territory.
  • Team Communication: Foster effective team communication through individual and team meetings.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Recruit, onboard, train, and retain direct sales representatives.
  • Sales Coaching: Perform ride-along with sales representatives to provide coaching and feedback on sales performance.
  • In-Home Sales Consultations: Complete in-home sales consultations with potential customers as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a direct sales role or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to follow defined sales process performing in-home sales consultations, ability to travel in local market including evenings and weekends, ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball", ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "today not tomorrow" mentality.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer's needs at the forefront of every interaction.
  • Leadership: Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Accountability: Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one's own actions, performance, and decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Home Improvement Industry Experience: Prior sales experience in the home improvement industry.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Prior leadership and management experience.
