Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will operate autonomously while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

This role encompasses all duties typically associated with a seasoned executive assistant, including but not limited to scheduling, meeting facilitation, project oversight, correspondence management, information tracking, and reporting.

This position is expected to handle a variety of tasks, manage projects, and address urgent needs effectively.

Daily interaction with senior leadership is required, representing the executive director with professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and a commitment to the organization's vision.

The role is performed onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research, compile information, and expedite objectives as directed by the Executive Director.
Screen phone calls and visitors for the Executive Director, assisting those who do not require executive attention.
Open and review incoming correspondence before presenting it to the Executive Director.
Manage the Executive Director's calendar and coordinate meeting details as necessary. Attend meetings with or on behalf of the Executive Director to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
Handle sensitive information with a high degree of discernment and judgment.
Act as a representative of the Executive Director to managers, staff, and external contacts, serving as a liaison between the Executive Team and other departments.
Oversee tasks and assignments delegated to various departments by the Executive Office.
Assist the Executive Director in managing their direct reports and provide guidance on inquiries regarding organizational policies and procedures.

Address a wide range of situations and conflicts related to administrative functions when they cannot be escalated to the Executive Director.

Ensure that the overall objectives set by the Executive Director are achieved.
Coordinate departmental information and establish office procedures to enhance organizational efficiency and ensure timely information flow.
Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for problem resolution as needed. Oversee special projects as assigned.
Evaluate and approve various documents, such as purchase requests and invoices from the Executive Team's departments.
In the absence of Executive Team members, relay requests for action or information to the appropriate managers, interpreting requests and implementing actions when feasible. Determine whether to notify individual Executive Team members of significant or urgent matters.

Maintain a strong spiritual life, engaging in prayer and operating in faith while aligning with the ministry's vision.

Possess a high emotional intelligence (EQ) and respond positively to coaching.
Transcribe messages as required.
Prioritize workload and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management and administrative support.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and management skills.
Expertise in public relations and communication.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Typing speed of 55 WPM with minimal errors.
Ability to handle highly confidential information.
Capacity to work under pressure.
Negotiation and interpersonal skills are advantageous.
Flexibility is essential.

Must be a Licensed Minister, capable of ministering to and praying with staff and partners, and performing services within the scope of responsibility for this ministry.


Equipment Utilized:
Standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of seven hours daily.

Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment.

Normal hearing and vision range are required.

Mental Demands:
Ability to analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans.
Must be highly organized and require minimal instruction.
Ability to understand vague and implicit instructions and respond favorably in various work situations.
Attention to detail, organization, and communication are crucial.
Must be task-oriented and goal-driven.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work conditions.
Capability to grasp and apply new concepts.
Ability to resolve conflicts, handle issues, and make effective decisions.
Must relate well and interact with individuals at all levels.

Working Conditions:
Operates in a standard office environment.
Weekend and evening hours may be necessary.
Some travel for events may be required.

Additional Information:

A born-again believer must adhere to the doctrines upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.

Must collaborate effectively with others as a team and, according to Romans 16:17, must not create dissension or divisions.

Maintain a good attendance record.
Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support EMIC leadership.

This position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills due to extensive personal contact with ministry leaders both within and outside the organization.

Interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with diverse groups, requiring significant skill and diplomacy in communication.
Ability to cultivate effective working relationships across departments.
