Position Overview:

This role encompasses substantial project oversight responsibilities with the primary aim of directing the implementation of technology-driven initiatives. A central emphasis is on consistently evaluating all operations for enhancement, service improvement, quality assurance, and efficiency to guarantee that targets and objectives are met within the stipulated time, budget, and performance standards. This position is based onsite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with the IT Department to manage projects or programs, ensuring overall program success.
  • Oversees the technical aspects of all projects by thoroughly understanding the processes, systems, and foundational elements involved.
  • Excels in establishing order when faced with unfamiliar project challenges and environments.
  • Defines and develops project requirements, charters, scopes, and plans, while also determining schedules and budgets.
  • Determines methods and procedures for project execution.
  • Identifies and mitigates potential risks and liabilities associated with various projects.
  • Participates in prioritization committee meetings to establish project priorities, time requirements, team needs, and objectives.
  • Anticipates resource needs to achieve objectives and manages resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Defines, manages, and executes multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Makes informed decisions when faced with multiple options for project advancement.
  • Acts as a liaison for teams when multiple units are engaged in the same project to ensure cohesive actions.
  • Conducts quality control throughout project development to uphold expected standards.
  • Inspires team members to complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Manages the procurement and distribution of approved devices and software.
  • Maintains a high level of proficiency in systems applications with specialized knowledge in computer analysis and programming.
  • Coordinates the implementation of consistent processes across the organization and ensures projects are executed according to established protocols.
  • Provides management with feedback on evolving methodologies and standard operating procedures as necessary.
  • Maintains a detailed project schedule with regular updates.
  • Delivers written project status reports to management as required and updates the same in project management tools.
  • Fosters strong working relationships with personnel from other departments, ensuring open communication and promoting collaboration.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • SCRUM Master certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with project management tools or readiness to learn within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT and technical projects is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
