Position Overview:

The primary role is to safeguard the assets and personnel of Eagle Mountain International Church. This includes conducting round-the-clock patrols across a vast estate that encompasses various facilities such as executive offices, warehouses, childcare centers, and production studios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of designated individuals and locations from harassment, physical threats, vandalism, and unauthorized actions.
  • Maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding job responsibilities and sensitive information related to ministry operations, personnel, and visitors.
  • Exhibit professionalism that positively represents Eagle Mountain International Church.
  • Document and submit incident reports following significant occurrences.
  • Verify that security equipment and protocols are effective and consistently in optimal condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the premises.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities.
  • Foster and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders, staff, and visitors.
  • Communicate safety concerns, security violations, and unusual situations both verbally and through written logs.
  • Address security issues or emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Meet and uphold all relevant state licensing and permit requirements for armed security personnel.
  • Stay informed and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of the property, including fixed post assignments.
  • Inspect and report on the condition of buildings, equipment, and overall property safety.
  • Respond to security and fire alarms as necessary.
  • Perform building checks to ensure security measures are in place.
  • Provide security for special events as required.
  • Maintain security vehicles and equipment to established standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive written and verbal reports of daily activities.
  • Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Assist other departments within the ministry as needed.
  • Actively participate in security training programs.
  • Perform radio dispatch duties as required.
  • Monitor intrusion and fire alarm systems.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-4 years of experience in security preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Defensive Tactics.
  • Skilled in the use of handguns and long guns.
  • Certification in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care.
  • Proficient in dispatch operations.
  • Strong patrol skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word is desired.
  • Willingness to work all shifts and some holidays.
  • Ability to perform well under stress.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain a Commissioned Security Officer license.
Equipment Used:
  • Telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, radios, vehicles.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to sit at a computer for long durations.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Physical ability to perform various movements and tasks.
  • Must pass a physical assessment that includes running, push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups.

  • Ability to analyze information and develop work plans.
  • Strong organizational skills with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to understand and follow complex instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong command of the English language.

  • Availability to work holidays, extended hours, and various shifts as needed.

  • Must be a born-again believer and adhere to the organization's doctrines.

  • Maintain a good attendance record.
