Position Overview:
The Program Evaluation Specialist plays a vital role within the College of Dental Medicine team.

This position involves the planning, execution, and reporting of program evaluations, ensuring adherence to University policies, HRSA mandates, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to grant management.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Develop, implement, and report on program evaluations, alongside administrative tasks, under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research and the Project Manager, to meet program objectives and outcomes.
2. Collaborate with the Associate Dean, Project Manager, HRSA project personnel, staff, students, and stakeholders to design the evaluation framework, including work plans, timelines, and data collection strategies.
3. Engage with project staff and partners to gather data, manage data transfer and storage, and analyze and summarize findings for comprehensive reporting.
4. Prepare and present reports to University leadership, HRSA, partners, students, and other stakeholders regarding compliance, progress, performance, and program impacts.
5. Ensure the program's adherence to University policies, HRSA guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations related to grant funding.
6. Innovate and implement strategies to promote project outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including project partners.
7. Maintain meticulous records of time dedicated to program evaluation in accordance with HRSA/University requirements to ensure accurate billing and compliance.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in statistics, health education/promotion, or a related public health field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of three years of relevant experience, including program planning and evaluation, or a combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required; familiarity with statistical software, relational databases, and program evaluation methodologies is preferred.
Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, showcasing cultural competence and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
