Position Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients throughout their lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role involves adhering to organizational policies and demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Key responsibilities include maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities to ensure quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience: New graduates of a nursing program are encouraged to apply.
Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia and BLS certification required.
Additional Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with advanced certification in a specialty area if applicable.
