Youth Program Coordinator

Position Summary
The Youth Coordinator for Joplin is tasked with providing essential support to the Joplin Campus and assisting the Youth Pastor in various operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinator Duties:
- Organize and assign volunteer teams for weekly service commitments.
- Communicate weekly assignments to team leaders and volunteers.
- Ensure adequate staffing for service events and find replacements as necessary.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of check-in and welcome areas, ensuring they are organized and stocked.
- Maintain a follow-up system for volunteer attendance across all campuses.
- Assist in preparing service materials and handouts.
- Monitor and update records for volunteer teams and small groups.
- Coordinate with pastoral staff regarding volunteer needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager on mass communication for volunteers.
- Support the development of student leadership programs.
- Facilitate timely communication regarding VIP interactions.
- Track and report on attendance and follow-up for VIPs and baptisms.
Growth Track Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential volunteers during Growth Track sessions.
- Track and communicate with participants throughout the Growth Track process.
- Ensure new volunteers are connected with their respective teams.
- Facilitate orientation meetings for new volunteers.
- Follow up with team leaders to ensure new volunteers are integrating well.
Life Group Responsibilities:
- Manage communication with Life Group leaders and participants.
- Maintain attendance records for all groups.
- Provide support for group recruitment and training initiatives.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of youth events.
- Support the Office Manager with event registration tracking.
- Facilitate communication with parents and students regarding event participation.
Campus Support:
- Coordinate monthly service events.
- Support church-wide events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of clerical experience or equivalent training.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in modern office practices and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in office software including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
