Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Marketing Lead to spearhead our initiatives in North America. Our marketing efforts are pivotal in driving market expansion, acquiring new clientele, enhancing repeat transactions, minimizing customer attrition, and improving overall customer satisfaction. By becoming a part of our organization, you will play a vital role in the achievements and contributions of our North American division. This position oversees Marketing and Brand initiatives for our prominent North American brands: Greyhound and FlixBus.

Key Responsibilities – Make a Difference
  • Crafting and executing tailored omni-channel marketing and branding strategies, while implementing activities across North America for both Greyhound and FlixBus in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  • Facilitating strategic alignment within North America and collaborating with various HQ marketing teams, ensuring coherence with key stakeholders.
  • Managing marketing project plans to guarantee effective execution, and partnering with the commercial analytics team to establish baseline KPIs, along with ongoing measurement and reporting of outcomes.
  • Exploring innovative communication channels and media avenues, while encouraging experimentation to bolster brand KPIs, from awareness and consideration to advocacy and loyalty.
  • Identifying and nurturing strategic brand partnerships (including content platforms, brands, events, influencers, and locations) to foster brand engagement across multiple channels.
  • Adapting and ensuring local relevance of the global Social Media Strategy by overseeing the content calendar and social approach, while cultivating highly engaged communities around our brand.
  • Coordinating the design, production, and deployment of marketing and branding materials, such as terminal signage, to effectively promote Greyhound and FlixBus services.
  • Maintaining consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing platforms.
  • Developing communication strategies, including drafting briefs for localized content and creative, while continuously testing, reviewing results, and deriving insights to optimize creative elements, messaging, and layout to achieve campaign goals.
Candidate Profile – Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience (4-6 years) in data-driven marketing, with a strong emphasis on tactical marketing and brand strategy.
  • Experience in Social Media Marketing and Event Marketing is advantageous.
  • Background in transportation, travel, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Proven success in designing and executing marketing campaigns that yield measurable results and enhance brand visibility.
  • Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Strong grasp of the North American market and its cultural nuances.
  • Proven track record of fostering innovation and continuous improvement in marketing practices.
  • A genuine passion for customer experience and understanding their communication needs.
  • Interest in transforming commercial objectives into creative marketing strategies and communication concepts, with a comfort in driving these ideas to fruition.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
