About the Role

Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Technician to join our team. As a key member of our rail and transit team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of our clients' infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and management of rail and transit projects, including conceptual, preliminary, and final design, procurement, construction, certification, and asset management.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including design support during construction, quality and documentation control, testing and commissioning, and rail activation.
  • Contract and Procurement Management: Assist in the contract and procurement process, including developing scopes of work, budgets, and proposals.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development of training programs, manuals, and operating procedures to help our clients address identified issues.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Work closely with the QA/QC Administrator to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor staff of all levels, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communication and Business Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, including effective communication and business development skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited college or university in a relevant field, such as science, business administration, or engineering.
  • Experience: 20+ years of relevant post-education experience, with a minimum of 10 years working in or with a rail or transit agency.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Thorough knowledge and understanding of rail and transit project delivery, including design, procurement, construction, certification, and asset management.
  • Software and Tools: Proficient in computer application software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
