We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Program Technician who possesses a proactive mindset and is eager to contribute to the management of transit and rail systems, specifically within freight railroads and public transit sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of various rail and transit initiatives, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Engage in a multitude of design and management tasks related to rail projects, including those associated with prominent agencies.
- Work alongside technical leaders and management professionals to guide multidisciplinary teams through the complete project lifecycle, from environmental assessments to asset management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in fields such as Science, Business Administration, Communications, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a rail or transit agency environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of rail and transit project delivery processes, including design, construction oversight, and quality assurance.
- Experience in contract management, procurement, and project oversight.
- Ability to mentor and manage personnel effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on client relations and business development.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and ProjectWise.
